To raise awareness, build community, improve care and find a cure for PSP, CBD and MSA.
Put meaning to your miles by running for Team CurePSP. All funds raised will go directly towards our mission of raising awareness, building community, improving care and finding a cure for progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), corticobasal degeneration (CBD) and multiple system atrophy (MSA). As a part of the team, you’ll receive fundraising support, a customizable fundraising page, Team CurePSP swag and access to online communities to interact with other team members.
The Parkinson’s Foundation announced the launch of a partnership with CurePSP on the development of a multi-part educational program geared towards healthcare professionals. The program focuses on “atypical Parkinsonian syndromes,” including: progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), corticobasal degeneration (CBD) and multiple system atrophy (MSA).
We are thrilled to announce the launch of our first-ever Facebook discussion group for individuals affected by progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) or corticobasal degeneration/syndrome (CBD/CBS). Whether you are someone diagnosed, a partner, a family member or a friend, this group is for you! It’s a space to connect with others on a similar journey, access valuable resources and share questions and insights in a safe, moderated environment. Join us and be part of a supportive network where we make the journey together.
Upcoming Pathway and Pipeline Grant deadlines will be in October 2023 and April 2024. CurePSP provides seed funding to investigators who have innovative ideas that need proof of concept or pilot studies in order to qualify for larger funding sources. CurePSP will fund studies on PSP and CBD with a particular interest in (i) fundamental neurobiology and mechanisms of PSP and CBD and (ii) translational projects focusing on new therapeutics and biomarkers for PSP and CBD.
Join us for the Wellness Workshop: Holistic Health for the CurePSP Community!
At CurePSP, we encourage everyone in our community to focus on many different aspects of wellness throughout their disease journey or the journey of their loved ones, including caring for their physical, mental, emotional, social and intellectual needs.
Through the Wellness Workshop: Holistic Health for the CurePSP Community, you will discover new self-care techniques, interact with others who are also searching for ways to maintain wellness, and learn which changes you can make to your lifestyle that will make the greatest impact on your overall health.
This year’s virtual Wellness Workshop will consist of educational and interactive presentations related to dignity therapy, voice exercises, mental wellness and chair exercises. Following the presentations, participants will be broken out into interactive discussion groups to connect with other attendees, talk through the subjects covered during the workshop and reflect on what wellness means to them.
